A schedule of services for August 2026 is listed for the Church of the Nativity of the Most Holy Mother of God in Tarasovo. History
Tarasovo has been documented since at least 1477. In 1515, the settlement was acquired by Prince Konstantin Ivanovich Ostroshsky and later developed into a mestechko, a local administrative, commercial, and craft center. The settlement’s Orthodox tradition is associated with the construction of the first church in the 17th and 18th centuries.
A commemorative plaque bearing the image of Prince Konstantin Ostroshsky was unveiled in connection with the Church of the Nativity of the Most Holy Mother of God in Tarasovo. A memorial alley honoring Blessed Prince Konstantin Ostroshsky was also established in connection with this church.
