Bozhentsi: Hotels and Accommodation

As an architectural and historical reserve, Bozhentsi preserves the overall character of the Bulgarian National Revival period. The village scenery includes ethnographic architectural monuments and urban ensembles.

The museum organizes or hosts concerts, historical reenactments and theatrical performances, as well as plein-air photography and art events and craft demonstrations.

Geographical Setting

The area surrounding Bozhentsi includes Bacho Kiro, Dryanovski Manastir, Stramna strazha, Bedek and Karazholu Kula. The wider region also features the exhibition halls, the Museum of the Constituent Assembly and the “Mother Bulgaria” monument.

Nature and Trails

The Iztochnik–Bozhentsi eco-trail follows a restored Roman road from the early 4th century through level woodland. The easy route is approximately 3.5 km long and takes about one hour. Red ribbons mark the trail, which is used by hikers and cyclists.
