Fotinovo: Hotels and accommodations

Culture

The “Kostenurkite” complex consists of numerous forms carved into the rock near Fotinovo that resemble the shells of freshwater turtles. Three forms are clearly distinguishable; grooves remain from a fourth.

The largest of the turtle-like rock forms measures 7.6 metres by 5.35 metres.

On the left bank of the Varbitsa River, directly next to Fotinovo, six Thracian niches, ancient rock-cuttings, grooves, and a rock tomb can be seen.
