Parwomaj presents its history at specific sites. Planning a trip also includes finding a hotel in Parwomaj. The preserved Church of Saint Dimitar: Its construction began in 1836 as the city’s first school, and in 1849 the building was consecrated as a church. The school building of Saints Cyril and Methodius houses a museum that preserves historical relics.

The Church of Saint Nicholas and the Chapel of Saint Paul are located near Parwomaj. The surrounding area is home to the Church of Saint Demetrius and Skobelevsko Vrelo. Further afield in the region are Dragoyna, Sveti Petar, Mechkovets, and the Church of Saint George.

Transport routes

The international E80 road and a railway line running from Europe via Sofia, Plovdiv, and Istanbul pass through Parwomaj. Another road connects the area of Stara Zagora and Chirpan with Asenovgrad and Smolyan.
