Trudovets: Hotels and Accommodation

In the center of Trudovets stands St. George’s Church, which is locally described as one of the settlement’s significant public buildings. It was built between 1900 and 1908. St. George the Great Martyr is designated as a cultural monument with artistic value and local significance.

The church’s furnishings include an iconostasis made by masters from Debar from the Filipovi family. The icons were painted by Georgi Zhelyazkov.

Folklore and Festivals

The Zlatni Nishki National Folklore Festival in Trudovets is a competitive folklore event. The eighth edition in 2026 lasted two days and attracted more than 1,000 participants from over 60 singing, dance, and folklore ensembles. The festival includes competitions for Bulgarian folk dances and folk songs.

The Pop Nako village festival is also among the town’s revived events: it was held again in 2025 after a 15-year hiatus.

The east-west road through Trudovets connects the settlement with the Hemus Motorway. The access road to Pop Nako was newly paved in 2025; the site has a car park as well as tables and benches for visitors. The Stubelya Fountain in Trudovets is a drinking-water point near the Hemus Motorway.
