A branch of the cycling route to Ozalj leads to the Baroque parish church of St. Vitus, first mentioned in 1349. In the nearby area, Vrlovka Cave in Kamanje is designated; it is located 6.5 kilometers from Ozalj. The surrounding area is associated with the wine cellars of Vivodina.

ŠRD Ozalj organizes fishing competitions, including the international Kup grada Ozlja, league rounds, a district cup, and other club competitions. The Kup Grada Ozlja is a recurring float-fishing competition held at the Šljunčare Lakes.
