Vrhovac: Hotels and Accommodation

Vrhovac is home to the “Church of Sts. Cosmas and Damian”. It has a medieval core and acquired its Baroque appearance through renovations in the late 17th and 18th centuries. A Baroque side altar of the Three Kings, featuring a relief of the Adoration of the Three Kings from 1660, has also been preserved. Route 9 passes through Vrhovac in the recommended direction. The Ozalj–Krašić–Ozalj circular route is 28 kilometres long and climbs through fragrant meadows and wide fields to Vrhovac.

A 59-kilometre route is described as 70 percent asphalt and 30 percent gravel. Visits are recommended from April to October; Vrhovac is listed as a refreshment stop. A 59-kilometre cycling route from Ozalj passes through Vrhovac before entering Žumberak–Samoborsko gorje Nature Park.

Culture and Events

KUD Vrhovac was founded in 2000 and received public recognition from Ozalj for preserving the local cultural heritage. Stare Seoske Igre is a traditional event in Vrhovac intended to preserve local customs, games, songs and dances. It was scheduled to take place in Vrhovac on 18 and 19 July 2026 and was organised by KUD Vrhovac. The 2026 Sunday programme was to include children's folklore performances and children's games.
