Around the Church of the Holy Trinity are stone tomb slabs and a tombstone with a Gothic cross dating from the 14th to the 16th century. At the beginning of the 20th century, the present church completely covered and altered an earlier, smaller church. At the same time, it forms part of a sequence of sacred buildings beside an older route connecting Gradac and Spilan.

The Church of Saint George in Petrača preserves ten tomb slabs, a box-shaped tombstone, and two tombstones with crosses at a multi-layered archaeological site. It was first mentioned in written sources in 1321. The medieval cemetery around the church once served as the only cemetery in Petrača.

Petrača is associated with the Church of Saint George between Buići and Petrača and with the Church of the Holy Trinity in Petrača; both are among the notable cultural heritage sites in Župa dubrovačka. The Church of Saint George is described as an exceptional archaeological site and has been partially archaeologically researched.

Petrača is recognized as a rural ensemble and includes the Kerša-Kesovija summer residence. In addition, the Church of Saint George in Petrača is included in the trail of medieval tombstones (Stećci) in Konavle and Župa dubrovačka.

The Church of Saint George is located on the southwestern slopes of Malaštica, on the border between Buići and Petrača.
