Zagorje: Hotels and Accommodation
Coast and Bays
Zagorje’s public coastal beaches are located in pebble coves along a predominantly rocky coastline. Bobina Beach lies on the eastern coast at the foot of Zagorje, in a preserved wooded setting that provides shade. Bobina Beach is not accessible by vehicle.
Stupova Beach lies on the border of the municipalities of Brseč and Kršan. The beach is a pebble cove below the gorge of the intermittent watercourse Supoti. Stupova Beach is not accessible by vehicle and has no other public infrastructure.
Brestova Beach comprises two pebble locations within Brestova Bay; one of these locations lies directly below the ferry terminal.
Culture
Throughout the wider municipality of Kršan, Glagolitic and religious heritage come together with traditional crafts, gastronomy and an interest in nature, including the endemic Istrian bellflower.
In Baći, the Church of Saint Catherine contains an altarpiece by Valentin Lukas. It is a single-nave building dating from the 17th or 18th century. Pilgrims visit the church every year on 25 November.
