Trsce: Hotels and accommodations

The Stopama tršćanskih rudara trail begins in the center of Tršće and leads to former iron-mining sites and open-pit mining areas connected with the former Čabar ironworks. The trail is 6.5 km long and has eight information points as well as a viewpoint; access to the mine workings is prohibited. Those wishing to book a hotel in Trsce can continue their accommodation search afterward.

Nature

The Staza predatora trail, with its botanical section, begins behind the primary school in Tršće. It is a 1.7 km circular trail, marked with signs and equipped with benches for resting. The botanical section presents the flora of the Čabar and Gorski Kotar regions. Along the trail are life-size models of a wolf, lynx, bear, stag, roe deer, fox, wild boar, and capercaillie.

Trails and landscape

The second section of the Goranski planinarski put includes Tršće. The Goranski planinarski put is a circular hiking trail approximately 280 km long. The route known as 748 Down the Kupa Highway leads from Tršće downhill toward Smrečje and Mali Lug along scenic winding roads.

Culture and history

The Church of St. Andrew in Tršće dates from 1860 and was restored in 1996. It stands beside the Delnice–Gerovo–Prezid–Vrhnika road.

Winter and activities

The Rudnik ski area has two ski runs and one lift. The ski area offers views toward Tršće and over part of Slovenia. The Rudnik sledding area in Tršće is listed as having a conveyor belt, sled rental, and refreshments.

The Gorski-Lazi Adventure Park in Tršće is an approximately 300-meter-long treetop obstacle course with 13 platforms, seven bridges, and three ziplines; it is currently temporarily closed due to renovation work.
