Lake Lokvarsko offers two different seasonal options: you can swim there in summer, while fishing is possible year-round. The lake is also part of a human-made landscape, having been created as a reservoir in the 1950s. Guided walks are offered in the protected, 51 ha Golubinjak Park Forest. You must arrange these in advance by phone or email. Barbecue areas can be rented in the park forest. Špilja Lokvarka has been protected as a geomorphological natural monument since 1961. The first four of its six levels are open to visitors. The section explored to date is 1,179 metres long; the cave is 275 metres deep.

The “Staza spilja” is 10.82 km long. Visitors can see speleological sites along it; the route follows interesting and attractive roads and paths, with numerous karst features and formations. The “Muzej žaba” (Frog Museum) is housed in the KC “Picirk” building in Lokve. At the Kuća prirode “Kotač,” you can also sample indigenous Gorski herbal liqueurs.
