The old parish church of Saint Anthony of Padua in Svib was built in 1747 and extended in 1832. Preserved features include a stone outdoor altar, a rose window, a bell gable with three bells, and two altars made of Brač stone.

The newer parish church of the Assumption of Mary in Svib was built in 1974. Its bell tower and the interior and exterior finishing were also completed in 1995. It contains a bronze statue of Mary, a stained-glass window depicting the Assumption of Mary, Stations of the Cross, and a marble altar.

Archaeological fieldwork in Svib and its immediate surroundings documented nine archaeological sites from different periods. These include six hillforts, two open sites with pottery finds, burial mounds, and graves beneath stećci. Based on archival material, a hypothesis about the location of the old parish church was also formulated.
