Seline: Hotels and accommodations

Seline lies on a wide plain between a pebble beach and the impressive Mala Paklenica Canyon; walking, hiking and cycling trails connect the town with Starigrad via picturesque hamlets in the mountainous hinterland. Nature

Entrance 2 to Paklenica National Park is located in Seline, before the Mala Paklenica Canyon. Tickets purchased there are also valid for Entrance 1, and the reception is open only during the main season. Entrance 2 to Paklenica National Park is recommended exclusively for experienced hikers. Mala Paklenica Canyon is known for its wilderness and unspoiled nature. The Mala Paklenica stream is 12.5 km long.

Coast

RT Pisak Beach in Starigrad and Seline is a partially developed pebble beach accessible via an asphalt road.

Things to do

The Staza No. 1 STARIGRAD–RELJANI cycling route, designated as a one-way route, leads from Jusupi downhill into the center of Seline and to Pisak Beach. It passes through picturesque villages in the Velebit foothills with traditional stone architecture and numerous cultural and historical sites, offering beautiful views of the mountains and sea. The Mala Paklenica (Seline) – Njive Lekine – Grabove Doline – Anića Luka – Velika Paklenica hiking route takes approximately six hours.

Culture

A stone dam from one of the old mills still stands in Mala Paklenica. The Church of St. James stands above the Mala Paklenica Canyon.
