Keblov lies in a flat hollow surrounded by forests and near the Želivka Dam. A stream flowing through Keblov feeds the dam. The village retains its rural character; the well-maintained village green is lined with old lime trees.

A shop and an inn in Keblov serve the local residents and numerous holidaymakers. The church “Kostel Nanebevzetí P. Marie” was originally Gothic, has been documented in writing since 1352, and was probably built in the early 14th century. It was restored after a fire in 1895.

The lantern procession “Lampionový průvod” was held in Keblov on November 15, 2024, and November 16, 2025.
