Transport

Bukovany has no railway connection, only bus service operated by ČSAD Benešov.

Events

At a Children's Day event in Bukovany, the program included the “Poznej, co jíš” tasting game, puzzles, fishing for bowling pins with a fishing rod, and a slalom. An annual Children's Day event was held in the area of Palírny (the Sokol tavern) in Bukovany.

A nohejbal tournament described as traditional was also held in Bukovany for the second time. The tournament for the FCS Týnec Cup – Zbyněk Mana Memorial was described as the 12th edition.
