The historic centre of Litichovice consists of original compact development with rural farmsteads. At the entrance to the village, a wayside cross is designated as a historically significant structure.
Culture and History
The Chapel of Our Lady of Lourdes in Litichovice was built in 1920 by Jan Lejček at his own expense and consecrated on 10 October 1920. On 12 March 1942, the 200-year-old, 12 kg bell dedicated to Saint Joseph was removed from the chapel for war purposes.
Traditional Posvícení dances were held in Litichovice. During the Sunday Posvícení celebration, a band went through the village, playing songs on request and receiving koláče as refreshments. Dancing at the Posvícení celebration continued until Monday.
