Krhanice: Hotels and accommodations

The Lešany Military Technical Museum is located between Krhanice and Lešany. It has more than 700 historic military vehicles and associated equipment, presenting its collections in ten halls, under six covered areas, and outdoors. The Podlešanský mlýn educational trail begins at Krhanice railway station. Its six stops are Krhanice railway station, the Sázava River, the Lešany Military Technical Museum, Obory, the Ovčička and Beránek ponds, and the Podlešanský mlýn mill; the educational trail crosses the Sázava River. Krhanice railway station is part of the integrated transport system.

Culture and history

The estate of House No. 22 lies west of Krhanice on the banks of the Sázava River. It is a Neoclassical complex with decorative stucco ornamentation above the entrance; part of the grounds of House No. 22 is located in Krhanice. The Chapel of Saint Joseph with the Infant Jesus in Krhanice was repaired in 2022.

In 1228, half of Krhanice was owned by a monastery. The ruins of Zbořený Kostelec can be seen in the vicinity of Krhanice above the Sázava River.

The Podlešanský mlýn educational trail connects Krhanice railway station, the Sázava River, the Lešany Military Technical Museum, Obory, the Ovčička and Beránek ponds, and the Podlešanský mlýn mill along its route. The trail has six stops and crosses the Sázava River.

Leisure and events

The multipurpose sports ground in Krhanice offers playing areas for volleyball and badminton. It has a 33 x 15 m multifunctional court for ball sports and also includes a 5 x 10 m area for table tennis with a table tennis table.

Children's Day in Krhanice is a traditional event. The Noc s Andersenem event in Krhanice has already been held for the 13th time.
