Modletice: Hotels and Accommodation

The Zámecký rybník pond is located in the center of Modletice. The town is less than 20 km from Prague and is home to the Modletice Chateau, a Baroque château dating from 1777.

Culture

The Modletice Chateau is a single-storey building with a mansard roof. It is currently used exclusively for commercial purposes. Modletice is also home to a statue of St. John of Nepomuk dating from 1806.

The Modletické zvonění music festival has been held in Modletice every year since 2010. Previous line-ups included Aneta Langerová, Tomáš Klus, Nerez and Mňága a Ždorp.

Routes

The autumn Špacír follows a route of approximately 12 km through Modletice and several neighboring municipalities. One edition of the Špacír was a hiking event through four municipalities. In one edition, the Špacír began in the courtyard of the Modletice Chateau in Modletice. One documented edition of the Špacír followed a route of approximately 10 km.
