Popovičky: Hotels and accommodation

The protected complex of the Church of Saint Bartholomew in Popovičky consists of the church, an ossuary, an enclosure wall and two gates. Between 1731 and 1736, the church was rebuilt and extended at the initiative of the parish priest Jan Antonín Horník.

Culture and history

The Popovičky rectory preserves remnants of the original interior decoration and a cosy attic apartment. Next to the Popovičky municipal office, an information-panel installation about the Heydrichiáda stands by the Lidická hrušeň. The park and chateau of Průhonice are a national cultural monument and are inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
