Nová Ves Pod Pleší: Hotels and Accommodation

The wooden house at number 18 is also one of the town’s protected buildings. It has been protected as a heritage site since 1975 and is listed as a cultural monument. At the same time, it is considered a traditional example of the folk architecture of the Příbramsko region from the second half of the 18th century; its original floor plan and numerous original building elements have been preserved. The chapel dedicated to Saint John of Nepomuk, with its small bell tower, was built in 1842 and still stands in Nová Ves pod Pleší today. In the centre of the town, a chestnut avenue was planted in 1881.

The Trabant Museum was founded by Míla Foukner and ceremonially opened on 1 July 2017. The yellow Trabants of Dan Přibáň are on display; the museum also covers, among other things, Trabantcross races. It has seasonal opening hours: in May, June, September and October, visits are possible from Monday to Friday by telephone appointment.

In the forest near the Na Pleši Sanatorium stands Národní muka, a four-metre-high column carved from a block of sandstone. It commemorates the suffering of the Czech nation.

The green cycling loop “Krajem luk a lesů”, classified as moderately difficult, passes through Nová Ves pod Pleší. Nová Ves pod Pleší is connected to Mníšek pod Brdy and Prague by the public transport network and railway line 210.
