Zaluzany: Hotels and Accommodation

Zalužany is home to numerous examples of folk architecture. There are a total of 15 bodies of water in the municipality, in varying states of preservation. The largest is Březina Pond (Vachanka), located in the Zalužanský Stream catchment area.

The mountains of Vinice, Hrby and Bukovec lie in the vicinity of Zalužany. Mount Velká Leč is located in the wider surrounding region.

Zalužany Chateau, including its grounds, is listed as a cultural monument. There are reports of a fortress dating from the 15th century at the site of the chateau.

The present-day pseudo-Gothic Church of Saint Charles Borromeo in Zalužany was built from 1872 to 1874 on the initiative of local residents. It is currently closed to the public.

The Jewish cemetery in Zalužany is also a cultural monument.

The historic site “Lety u Písku. Holocaust Memorial to the Roma and Sinti in Bohemia” is located in the vicinity of Zalužany. Hrad Zvíkov Castle is also located nearby.

The ruins of the Radomysl Mediumwave Radio Mast and the Church of Svatý Jan are located in the wider surrounding region of Zalužany.
