The educational trail Povltavská stezka – Naučná stezka Svatojánské proudy begins in Štěchovice and ends in Nové Třebenice. The section through Svatojánské proudy is 7 km long and includes 12 stations. The topics covered include botany, zoology, and ecology.

Church and Tower Museum

The parish church of St. John of Nepomuk was newly built and consecrated on October 23, 1915. It stands on a hill; its tiered roof resembles the surrounding hills on the horizon.

The church's design combines motifs from Art Nouveau, antiquity, Byzantine, Romanesque, and Renaissance architecture. The Tower Museum has been open to the public since August 2020 and presents an exhibition about life in the parish.

Hydropower and Reservoir

The visitor center at the Štěchovice hydropower plant offers free guided tours by prior arrangement. These tours include the Štěchovice I machine hall and the outdoor switchyard with its transformers.

The Štěchovice Reservoir was built between 1937 and 1945 and is clad in granite.

Travel options to Štěchovice for the educational trail include by car via road II/102 and by bus; during the holidays, the boat is also available seasonally.
