Plasnice: Hotels and Accommodation
Plasnice lies directly on the edge of the Orlické hory Protected Landscape Area. At the same time, the village is situated on the main access road to Deštné v Orlických horách. Špičák rises between Deštné v Orlických horách and Plasnice; from its forest-free summit above the edge of the quarry, there is a beautiful view.
Nature and Landscape
Sedloňovský vrch and Orlica, both mountains, are located in the vicinity of Plasnice. The mountains Malá Deštná and Velká Deštná are also situated near Plasnice.
Cycling and Hiking Trails
The marked cycle route 22 runs through Plasnice and connects Mladkov with Dolní Adršpach along a 107.5-kilometre route. The marked cycle route 4243 connects Skuhrov nad Bělou, Šediviny and Plasnice along a total distance of 14 kilometres.
The Plasnice bus stop is located on the main road between Deštné v Orlických horách and Olešnice v Orlických horách. It is a landmark at the beginning of a green-marked hiking trail. On the outskirts of Plasnice, beside a yellow-marked hiking trail towards Sedloňov, stands a fragment of a cross with a relief of Saint Anne on a pedestal; the yellow-marked trail continues to the nearby hamlet of Kout.
Culture and Regional Destinations
The Chapel of the Holy Family in Plasnice was built in 1873 on the initiative of local residents. The wider region around Plasnice is home to several destinations described as castles: Gorzanów - Pałac, Żelazno - Zamek, Szczerba - Ruiny zanku and Ścinawka Górna - Renesansowy dwór.
