Lichtenstadt: Hotels and accommodations

The Jewish cemetery on the northern outskirts of Hroznětín is considered one of the oldest Jewish cemeteries in Central Europe and is recommended as a tourist destination. The grounds contain tombstones dating from the 17th to the 20th century, as well as a gate and a surrounding wall. The cemetery is locked; a key can be borrowed from the Hroznětín municipal office.

The Hroznětín town festivals take place annually on the last Saturday in August. The program includes culture and music, as well as, since 2011, the cooking competition Krušnohorská bramboračka for preparing potato soup in a cauldron.

Religious buildings include the Flaschner Chapel of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, which was restored in 2015. The Church of Saints Peter and Paul was founded by Teplá Monastery at the beginning of the 13th century; its Romanesque structure was completed in 1217. The church has been preserved and is occasionally accessible.

The Velký Rybník recreational area lies south of Hroznětín. It is suitable for summer fishing, cycling, mushroom picking, and hiking. The Gloriett viewpoint offers views from the southern Ore Mountains as far as Karlovy Vary.

The first circular trail, Hroznětínská zastavení, is a 4 km loop with ten stations featuring information boards.

The surroundings of Hroznětín include Schlackenwerth Monastery, Popovský kříž Mountain, Vlčí hřbet Mountain [Jáchymov], Plešivec Mountain, and Perninský vrch Mountain. In the wider regional surroundings of Hroznětín are the Church of the Assumption in Cranzahl and the Church of the Redeemer in Bärenstein.

The single-track Karlovy Vary–Merklín railway line also runs through the area around Hroznětín.
