The Hlídka na Stráži forest park on Mount Stráž is open to the public and includes lookout structures as well as new rest areas. From Hlídka na Stráži, there are views across the Rokytnice Valley, of Lysá Mountain and Kotel, and towards Paseky and Vysoké nad Jizerou.

The very easy Dřevosochání educational trail runs for 1.1 km from the Na vrších crossroads in Horní Rokytnice nad Jizerou to Starý Kravín in Františkov. It leads into the picturesque district of Františkov in Rokytnice nad Jizerou and is suitable for pedestrians and cyclists. The educational trail is dedicated to a traditional wood-carving event held in Františkov around the transition from June to July each year.
