Čistá U Horek: Hotels and Accommodation

The volcanic ridge Čistecká Hůra runs along the southern edge of Čistá u Horek, with its summit reaching 587 metres above sea level. In good visibility, Čistecká Hůra offers views of the surrounding foothill valleys and the line of peaks from Zvičina via Kozákov to Ještěd.

Čistá u Horek is located on the main road I/16 between Nová Paka, Trutnov and Hostinné.

Nature

Mechsteine, known as “žluťáky”, can be found on Čistecké Rovně. The Krkonošská vyhlídka educational trail was established near Čistá u Horek in 2012. Krkonošská vyhlídka is a destination for trips and walks and is also visited by cyclists from the surrounding area.

Culture

Taliány is a cascade structure above a pond in the lower part of Čistá u Horek. The structure was built in 1897 by Italian workers as protection against a flood wave following a devastating flood.

The Church of St Procopius in Čistá u Horek dates back to a Gothic church and was rebuilt in 1819. It contains a stone baptismal font from the Late Renaissance dating from 1611.

In the historic centre of Čistá u Horek, there is a farmhouse with house number 17 dating from 1789. Boží muka u kostela is a sandstone monument with a crucifix and bears the year 1807.
