Landscape

The Bílá voda stream flows through Služovice; a small pond lies along this stream in the centre of Služovice. The Hněvošický háj nature reserve is also located near the northern edge of Služovice.

Culture and History

The Chapel of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary has been a new landmark of Služovice since 1997. A local tavern in Služovice was visited in 1820 by the Russian Tsar Alexander I during his journey from Moscow to the Opava Diet. In Vrbka, a district of Služovice, the Chapel of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary is located and is considered a visitor attraction. Služovice and Vrbka are first mentioned in 1349.

Events

More than 50 events focused on community life take place annually in Služovice. Gulášfest is one of the significant local events in Služovice. Služovický odpust is a traditional event held in June, while Vrbecký odpust is a traditional event held in July. Mastné huby is also a traditional event held in June.
