Jedlí: Hotels and Accommodation

A marked green hiking trail also passes through Jedlí. It leads from Zábřeh via Na Horách, Václavov, Křížové hory and Jedlí to Štíty. There are six bus stops for connections within the municipality. Their 500-metre walking catchment area covers a large part of the built-up area.

The Church of St John the Baptist in Jedlí was first mentioned in 1411; in 1633, it was burned down by members of non-Catholic denominations. The present building is a single-nave late Baroque church erected in 1786, and it has five altars. In 2012, it underwent extensive repairs: among other work, the masonry was dried out, and the flooring, lighting and interior paintwork were renewed.

Other evidence of the local history includes a wayside shrine bearing the inscription “J. E. P. 1860” on the back of its pedestal. It was registered as a protected cultural monument in May 1958. The Holy Trinity Column in Jedlí is a group of sandstone sculptures approximately 5 metres high and is associated with the year 1773. The cemetery also contains an interestingly designed Empire-style gravestone from 1819, attributed to the Wachler family. The village school was built in 1832 with a donation from Prince Liechtenstein.

In the Březná Nature Park, wet meadows around Jedlí, Horní Studénky, Drozdov and the settlement of Na Horách are covered in carpets of the legally protected spring snowflake at the end of March. The Březná and Moravská Sázava rivers form striking, deep and symmetrical valleys there. Occurrences of the rare and strictly protected round-leaved sundew have also been documented in the cadastral area of Jedlí.
