Loučany: Hotels and Accommodation

Loučany has a landmark feature in the Chapel of St. Florian and St. Isidore: it dates from 1724.

Culture

The local history also includes the stone column with the statue of St. Florian from 1818. It is a registered immovable cultural monument on the road to Těšetice. The center of Loučany is also an area with documented or reasonably suspected archaeological finds.

The large hall with a stage in the Loučany Cultural Center is now around 100 years old. Balls, children's carnivals, concerts, Christmas events, and performances by schoolchildren take place there.

Nature

Loučany lies in the gently undulating plain of Haná and in the floodplain of the Šumice stream. The stream flows through the built-up part of the village; its course is partially regulated and lined with riparian and accompanying greenery.

On the right bank of the Šumice near the Otruba farm lies a wetland and aquatic biotope with pools, planted woody vegetation, and reed beds. It is a functional part of the “Haná” biocenter.

Routes

Loučany lies on cycle route 6025, which connects Olomouc, Náměšť na Hané, and Bouzov. The route between Loučany and Těšetice is asphalted or covered with spray seal in sections and is paved throughout.

Other linked places include Přáslavice, Domašov U Šternberka, Mrsklesy, Samotišky, Domašov Nad Bystřicí, Troubelice, Dub Nad Moravou, and Horka Nad Moravou.
