Přáslavice was first mentioned in writing in 1131 in a document issued by Olomouc Bishop Jindřich Zdík.

Culture and History

The Chapel of St. Roch dates from 1767 and was completely renovated in 1970. In the centre of Přáslavice, the stone cross replaced an earlier wooden cross in the summer of 1943; it was unveiled and consecrated that same summer.

The bell tower of the Czechoslovak Church was built next to the war memorial in 1930 and continues to form an ensemble with it to this day. The bell tower was completely renovated in 2006, and it received a new bell on 1 August 2006.

Cycle Paths

The Přáslavice–Velký Újezd cycle path was created in 2009. The Přáslavice–Doloplazy cycle path was established in 2018.

Surroundings

The mountains of Růžový Kopec and Skalice are located in the surroundings of Přáslavice. The Kluče hill (Olomouc-Lošov, viewpoint) is located in the immediate vicinity of Přáslavice. Mount Stráž is located in the wider regional surroundings.

The Church of Our Lady of the Snows, the Church of St. Michael and Čechovy sady Park are also located in the surroundings. The Pomník obětem 1. světové války memorial is also part of the wider regional surroundings.
