Suchdol: Hotels and Accommodations

Suchdol lies in the hilly section of the Drahanská vrchovina known as the Konická vrchovina, which is characterized by deeply incised valleys and breakthrough valleys.

Pilgrimage Church

The pilgrimage Church of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary was rebuilt between 1806 and 1809. Its high altar features a wooden Pietà dating from the mid-18th century. The original spring emerges beneath the high altar.

Mlýn Jednov Windmill

The Mlýn Jednov Windmill is a Dutch-type windmill and was built in 1842. Today, it is privately used for recreational purposes and can only be admired from a distance.

Cycling and Hiking Trails

The 36.6-kilometre cycling route “Around Konice’s Windmills” passes through Jednov and Suchdol and operates year-round. A hiking trail leads in the direction of Suchdol, runs east of Suchdol, and then continues through the forest to Seč.

Other Religious Buildings

On the village square in Labutice, a chapel is dedicated to Saint Stephen the Protomartyr. In front of the Chapel of Saint John of Nepomuk stands a stone cross dating from 1884. In Suchdol, a chapel of Saint John of Nepomuk dating from 1885 stands on the village square.
