Landscape and Nature

At 442 metres, Velký Kosíř is the highest peak in Haná and is associated with Kosíř Nature Park. Prostějov District, also known as Prostějovsko, connects the Drahanská vrchovina uplands with the broad Haná Plain.

Routes and Regional Traces

Most sections of the Romže cycle path run away from roads on asphalt; near Bělecký Mlýn, there are gravel and forest path sections. The Naučná stezka na Stráž educational trail is suitable for children and pushchairs and has two rest areas and ten information boards.

Winter and Water

There are small ski resorts in Kladky and Malé Hradisko. Protivanovsko has two groomed cross-country skiing circuits: Okruh Malé Hradisko and Protivanovský okruh.

The Plumlov Reservoir has sandy and grassy beaches; there is a boat rental service on the southern shore. A circular route for walks and cycling trips runs around the Plumlov Reservoir.
