Horní Štěpánov: Hotels and accommodations
Horní Štěpánov is situated in a largely forested area. The southwestern part of the extensive cadastral area is included in the Řehořkovo Kořenecko Nature Park. The cadastral area also contains the Uhliska Nature Reserve near the source of the Bělá stream.
Landscape and nature
A green-marked hiking trail runs along the western boundary of Uhliska. Another protected landscape is located immediately behind the built-up upper edge of the village: the V chaloupkách Nature Monument is a spring meadow with a species-rich flowering flora. Its conservation purpose includes, in particular, the roof gladiolus.
The Pohorská louka Nature Monument is located near the Pohora settlement. Pohora is also home to the natural swimming lake, or natural bathing facility, of Horní Štěpánov, which is used for swimming.

Culture and history
The original bell, known as the “umíráček,” has been preserved in the Church of St. Lawrence. The Horní Štěpánov parish also includes the Chapel of the Holy Trinity in Nové Sady; it is one of the churches and chapels of the parish where services are regularly held.
Remains of a glassworks were discovered at the Na hutích site at the end of the 19th century. A glassworks probably stood there in the 16th or 17th century.
