Studnice: Hotels and Accommodation

The 5 km-long, blue-marked Po Martinových stopách hiking trail begins in Studnice and leads to Stanský mlýn. The trail runs via Zadní Hradiště and features five information boards; the first is dedicated to Studnice. It also leads to a local deer enclosure, where visitors can stop at a shelter and observe the animals.

History

Studnice is considered one of the oldest settlements in the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands. The oldest written mention discovered dates from 1303.

Water and Landscape

The Hamerská water reservoir is one of the oldest embankment dams in the Czech Republic and currently serves as a source of drinking water.

Žákova hora and Devět Skal are mountains in the vicinity of Studnice. Přední Hradiště [Studnice] is a hill in the immediate vicinity of Studnice. Světka is a mountain in the wider regional surroundings of Studnice.
