The Bošínská obora adjoins Bošín and comprises meadows from the former game enclosures and pheasantry, prominent solitary trees, park-like landscaping, and an artificial pond. The Bošínská obora Nature Reserve covers 36.7811 hectares and was first designated on 1 May 1995. It protects near-natural floodplain woodland with impressive old trees; several protected bird, beetle, and plant species also occur in the Bošínská obora.

The “Choceň Educational Trail” runs through Bošín. The 35 km circular route is divided into two loops of 16 and 19 km; a shortcut leads from Kostelecké Horky through Bošín to Choceň.
Culture
The Chapel of Saint Philomena in Bošín is a filial church of the Roman Catholic parish in the Choceň deanery.
