Sudslava: Hotels and Accommodations

Sudslava is home to the Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord, which is documented as a parish church as early as 1350. The late Baroque building dating from 1772 features rich ornamental stonework and sculptural decoration.

Culture

In front of the former parish house in Sudslava stands a renovated Baroque statue of Saint John of Nepomuk. The grounds of the former parish are open to the public as a cultural monument and are used for an exhibition.

The repeatedly held Open Studios Day is also among the town’s cultural offerings mentioned above: in 2024, 2025, and 2026, guided tours with commentary through the historic interiors of the cultural monument took place there.

Activities

The 23 km cycling route Vysoké Mýto–Sudslava follows Cycle Route 4230 and is described as a moderately difficult route for road bikes, trekking bikes, and mountain bikes.

Sudslava also has a water reservoir where swimming is possible in summer.
