Dětřichov U Moravské Třebové: Hotels and accommodations

Every year in May, the municipality of Dětřichov organizes the DĚTŘICHOVSKÝ MEMORIÁL. The road race runs from Moravská Třebová to Dětřichov and commemorates the end of the Second World War as well as the victims of the concentration camp in Dětřichov.

Culture and history

Dětřichov u Moravské Třebové's cultural and historical heritage includes the memorial to the victims of National Socialism. It is a cultural monument of the Czech Republic and was erected in 1955. The historic Kupecká stezka trade route also passed through the village. Dětřichov u Moravské Třebové is also home to the Chapel of Saint Anne. A commemorative plaque from 1985 recalls the so-called Geburtshauslager in Dětřichov. Several original farmsteads complement the village's historical landmarks.

Landscape and location

Dětřichov u Moravské Třebové lies in the Třebovská vrchovina uplands. The Bílý potok stream flows through the village, while Dětřichov is surrounded by meadows and fields. Extensive forests stretch across the surrounding area.

A signposted local cycling route passes through Dětřichov u Moravské Třebové. Cycling route 182 also runs through the village, leading from Moravská Třebová via Opatovec, Litomyšl and Choceň. Cycling route 4044 connects Dětřichov u Moravské Třebové with Hřebeč via Koclířov. Cycling route 4202 runs from Dětřichov u Moravské Třebové via Opatov to Gajer.
