Sedliště is located 4 km from Litomyšl and on the road connecting Litomyšl with Choceň. The history of the village is closely linked to Domašice: Domašice was a predecessor of the present-day villages of Sedliště and Kornice. Sedliště was founded on the land remaining from Domašice, below the old Domašice.
History and Culture
The Chapel of St Michael the Archangel was built in 1874. It is a copy of one of the wings of St Peter’s Basilica in Vatican City and is the venue for regular Christmas nativity plays and Christmas carol singing.
The villages of Sedlisk and Sedlisky, with a farm covering one and a half hides, were owned by the Bishop of Litomyšl from 1398 to 1425 and belonged to the Diocese of Litomyšl.
Landscape
Řetová is a mountain in the surroundings of Sedliště, as is Jarošov. Havranův kopec is a hill in the immediate vicinity of Sedliště; U Končin is also a hill there. The stream known as Malvařický and today as Kornický flows through part of Sedliště.

Sokol Sedliště has been active in the village since 1926 and organizes various sporting and cultural events.
