Humpolec: Hotels and Accommodation
Humpolec combines a distinctive sacred building with specific points of interest for cultural and cycling enthusiasts. The small chapel stands out in the village landscape; it is a sacred building from the second half of the 19th century and a striking landmark of the village.
Culture
The chapel is dedicated to Saint Vendelin. It was renovated at a cost of half a million Czech korunas and solemnly consecrated on 24 October 2009. Every year on the feast day of Saint Vendelin, a service is held in the chapel.
The chapel in Humpolec offers a view of the nearby Kašperk Castle.
On the Way
The 21 km cycling circuit “Pod keltské Sedlo” also leads to Humpolec: below the 902 m-high Sedlo, it continues along a road to Humpolec.
