Susice: Hotels and Accommodations
One of the specific sights in Sušice is the Chapel of the Guardian Angel on Stráž Hill. The early Baroque chapel, built in 1682–1683, offers beautiful views of Sušice and its surroundings. It was founded in 1682 by Capuchin custodian Ladislav z Bílina, consecrated on August 3, 1683, by Prague Bishop Jan Dlouhoveský, and expanded in 1735 with attached ambits. From June to the end of August, services are regularly held in the chapel on Thursday evenings. The main pilgrimage currently takes place annually in early September as part of the so-called Sušická pouť; services are also held as part of it.

The Sušický mechanický betlém depicts historical Šumava architecture as well as important sights in Sušice and its surroundings. On the ground floor of the Muzeum Šumavy Sušice, the exhibitions on match production and archaeology, as well as the “V hradbách” exhibition rooms, are accessible without barriers.
Nature and Trails
The Svatobor lookout tower offers panoramic views over the Šumava and into the interior of the country. Sušická pavučina is a network of hiking and educational trails more than 30 km long in the surroundings of Sušice. It leads to the four peaks of Svatobor, Stráž, Kalovy, and Žižkův vrch, as well as through the Otava Valley near Na Pátečku. Most of the Sušická pavučina trails begin at the municipal office on the square in Sušice and are marked with colorful spiderweb symbols.
Lesopark Luh is a popular recreational area for the residents of Sušice and visitors to the town. It can be reached on foot from the square in Sušice in just a few minutes.
Activities
The Sušice treetop adventure park operated by OFFPARK is located on the banks of the Otava and offers 34 obstacles at a height of 6 meters, including 3 zip lines at the end.
