Landscape and historical traces

Prádlo lies in the southern part of the Radyňská vrchovina. Local history connects the name Prádlo with the washing of gold-bearing sand in the Middle Ages. Along the Úslava near Prádlo, several spoil heaps have been preserved as remnants of gold mining.

Architecture and culture

The Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross is an originally Gothic building from the 13th century, constructed with the involvement of the Nepomuk Cistercian building workshop. In the center of Prádlo stands the former distillery, originally a fortress dating from the second half of the 16th century. It has served as a distillery since the 19th century. In the wider regional surroundings of Prádlo, there is also the Plzen Barholomaeus Cathedral, a church.

Hills, rock formations, and hiking trail

Buzrakov (Plánický hřeben) is a mountain in the vicinity of Prádlo. Dus (Měcholupy u Blovic) is a hill in the immediate surroundings, as is Žinkovský templ (Žinkovy). Nad Moráskem is a mountain in the wider regional surroundings of Prádlo.

Jeskyňka is a rock fissure in a distinctive rock formation in Borek Forest above Prádlo, crowned by a small round stone gloriette. The stone gloriette at Jeskyňka was built in the 19th century by Princess Auerspergová. A red-marked long-distance hiking trail runs through Prádlo.

Liqueur production

Likérka Jenčík a dcery returned to Prádlo in 1997 and set up its production facilities in the former Engler mill building.
