Černýšovice: Hotels and Accommodation

South of Černýšovice lies the Černýšovické jalovce natural monument. It protects a significant population of more than 300 common juniper specimens.

Nature

Černýšovické jalovce was first placed under protection on January 21, 1988. The area lies approximately 300 metres from the Černýšovice–Bechyňská Smoleč road. Over the final approximately 300 metres to Černýšovické jalovce, bicycles must be pushed.

Landscape

The Všechlapský stream crosses the lower part of Černýšovice and flows into the Lužnice to the west. A local hiking trail also passes through Černýšovice, making excursions into the surrounding area possible.

Cycling and Trails

The KČT 30-kilometre cycling route runs through Černýšovice. The “Heroes of Bygone Times” cycling tour follows cycling route 1136 through the village.

Culture and History

At the northern edge of Černýšovice’s oval, sloping village square stands the Zvonice s kaplí sv. Jana Nepomuckého. The Zvonice s kaplí in Černýšovice was built around the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries; the addition of the chapel to the Zvonice s kaplí sv. Jana Nepomuckého created additional seating.

According to local tradition, Černýšovice was founded in 1390. The annual pilgrimage in Černýšovice takes place on the second Sunday after the feast of Saint John.
