Budislav: Hotels and Accommodation

At 560 metres above sea level, Budislavská hora is the highest point in the cadastral area of Budislav. The Černovický stream flows through Budislav; the Zámecký pond and its island are fed by it. The ponds and forests around Budislav are rich in mushrooms and bilberries. From Budislav, there are numerous opportunities for walks in the direction of Červená Lhota Castle.

The Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary was renovated in 1741 by Jan Václav Count Caretto of Millesimo and received a newly built bell tower. It is registered as an immovable cultural monument in the central list of immovable cultural monuments. The church contains ten tombstones with inscriptions that are now illegible.

Budislav Château stands on the site of a former vladyka fortress, which was rebuilt in 1754. A mill already stood below the pond dam and in the immediate vicinity of the château in Budislav in the 1670s; today, only a massive corner of the wall remains as a reminder of the mill building.

Road II/135 runs through Bechyně, Soběslav, Tučapy, Budislav and Kamenice nad Lipou.
