Vlastiboř: Hotels and accommodations

Vlastiboř has historic agricultural farmsteads, often richly decorated with stucco. A particularly illustrative example is Farmhouse No. 12 in Záluží u Vlastiboře: the three-part rural estate is located in the historic village center, has been preserved in an almost authentic condition, and is considered a valuable example of folk architecture.

Rural buildings also shape the character of Záluží u Vlastiboře; the village features richly articulated façades with white stucco decoration and colorful façades. The village square of Záluží also includes a pond, a chapel, and a blacksmith's workshop.

Other characteristic village squares can be found in Velká Strana and Svinky. The village square of Velká Strana includes a chapel and the building known as “Stará hospoda.” On the village square of Svinky stands a unique building that houses a chapel, a blacksmith's workshop, and a fire station under one roof.

The Doll Museum in Záluží displays dolls and nativity scenes, a black kitchen, and a living room with period furnishings. Works by Jiří Trnka and Václav Vaněk are also on display there.

The partisan shelter has been a state-protected monument since May 3, 1958. It was built in 1944 by the Konstantin partisan group.

The local Easter tradition called “nové léto” is still maintained in Vlastiboř. On the second day of Easter, girls walk around with the “nové léto.”

The areas around Vlastiboř's farmsteads include gardens, orchards, meadows, and adjacent narrow strips of land along the fields, which gradually merge into the open landscape.
