Culture and history

Dobrohošť was first mentioned in written sources in 1399 and was historically part of the Bílkov estate. From 1610 until the abolition of the patrimonial administration in 1849, Dobrohošť shared the history of the Dačice estate.

The Chapel of Saint Anne in Dobrohošť was built in 1767 and was originally dedicated to Saint Procopius. The brick chapel has a rectangular floor plan with a semicircular, unstepped termination and a square turret on the west side. Since 1958, the Chapel of Saint Anne has been protected as a cultural monument. The Chapel of Saint Procopius is freely accessible.
