Hrejkovice: Hotels and Accommodations

Hrejkovice lies in a gently hilly landscape between fields, small forests, and copses. To the west of the village lies Jezero Pond, which covers 10 hectares.

Nature

The Hrejkovický Stream flows south from Hrejkovický Pond toward Velká and Květov. Near the settlement of Vůsí, it flows into the Orlík Reservoir. Hrejkovice is also home to a state-protected linden tree and a state-protected oak tree.

Culture and History

The Chapel of Saint John the Baptist in Hrejkovice dates from 1866. The village preserves culturally and historically valuable wooden buildings from the 19th century. A monument to the soldiers who fell in the First World War commemorates the history of the 20th century.

The Na Vinici Chapel was restored in 2008 and stands on a hill north of Pechova Lhota. Mass is celebrated in the chapel on the village square in Pechova Lhota on the first Saturday of every month.

Water and Outdoor Activities

A children's playground with modern play equipment is located next to Hrejkovický Pond. There is also a workout area by Hrejkovický Pond. Hrejkovický Pond is listed as a place for swimming.

Hiking enthusiasts can enjoy the Hrejkovická dvacítka, a 20-kilometer New Year's hike.
