History
During the Napoleonic Wars, a military hospital was located near U Malovců, where wounded French soldiers were brought. In 1890, water erosion exposed a second burial site at V Podsedlí for French soldiers from the time of the Napoleonic Wars. A cross by the road to Tučapy stands at one of the burial sites from this period discovered in Košice.
The local history also includes the former post office in Tučapy. It was later replaced by a post office in Košice.
