In the lower part of Přeštěnice, the Koutník Chapel stands next to House No. 35. It was built in 1933 in connection with the reported recovery of František Koutník's son. Landscape

At 610 metres above sea level, Stráže is the highest hill in Přeštěnice. In clear weather, the view from Stráže extends as far as the distant Šumava Bohemian Forest. Přeštěnice has a foothill character; the village itself also offers a beautiful view.

Cycle route 1059 passes through the Přeštěnice area. Jezdecký klub Bártův dvůr Přeštěnice offers riding lessons for children and beginners under the guidance of experienced, licensed instructors. Every year, the club organises riding tournaments, including qualifying events for the Zlatá Podkova competition.
