In Předslavice, sacred architectural history, rural craft traditions, and a historic transport route come together. The Church of the Holy Trinity and Saint Wenceslas is first mentioned in writing in 1350. The “Around the Fortified Manors and the Museum of Rural Life in Předslavice” cycling route also passes through the village.

Culture and history

The Church of the Holy Trinity and Saint Wenceslas preserves a portal dating from 1320–1330 as well as a late Gothic baptismal font. In the settlement of Kakovice, which belongs to the municipality of Předslavice, the Chapel of Saint Anne stands on the village green.

The LIVA Předslavice Museum of Rural Life presents traditional crafts. The historic buildings also include the Baroque gate of the former “U Blumů” estate, which dates from 1848 and was created by the folk builder and mason-artist Jakub Bursa.

The vernacular building at Předslavice 4 has a gate with a Baroque gable above it. An inscription on the building states that the Malinů family already owned the farm before 1655.
