Culture and History
The Zvonička na návsi was built in 1881 and reconstructed in 2010. This reconstruction was part of the celebrations marking the 750th anniversary of the founding of Dobelice.
The site of the former fortress and the village of Ledvice lies approximately half a kilometre southwest of Dobelice. At the Ledvice castle mound, a prominent ditch separates the central part of the complex from the slightly elevated outer bailey area.
The Kaplička na křižovatce is a valuable example of vernacular sacred architecture. The Ledvice castle mound is also a botanically interesting site where several plant species occur in early spring, including the Czech star-of-Bethlehem, the lesser star-of-Bethlehem, marsh marigold and pasque flowers.
